This page is not neccessarily dedicated to the kind of Alltime Greats who achieved full recognition (or received large monetary compensation) for their contributions. It's more about artists who created something unique and in many cases lasting and influential. There's often a rough edge and raw energy here which doesn't fit well into the popular music box. I have admired these musicians because they were, first and foremost, true to themselves. I celebrate their creativity and originality. Many people know who Eric clapton is, but far fewer are aware of Freddie King's influence on Clapton's playing. I've always looked for that kind of "roots" connections.

This is an eclectic group of characters. I don't presume to have exceptional musical taste. I like just about everything, except for opera. I enjoy stuff that's energetic, fun and a little quirky. I appreciate musicians who aren't afraid to break the mold and go their own way. It's the contemporary art form set to music.........
